LGD Zero Suppression Studies

Some tests have been made on the LGD zero suppression code. These tests were done using the code for compressing the raw data group for the 1994 data. This code was created by K. Olchanski and is based on the same algorithm as used in the event builder for the 1995 run.

Two gamma spectrum

The pi0 and eta spectrum for 1-3-3-2 gamma data from 1994. The solid line is the data before zero suppression and the dashed line is the data after zero suppression.

Pi0 spectrum

Same as above, expect an enlargement of the pi0 region.
